Microsoft should have never taken my choice away for updates, because things were working reasonably well until they unapologetically destroyed what was once a comfortable system of interfacing with my PC, word processing, and posting routine.
I have had to relentlessly reinstall google for my browser choice; incessantly return my PC to a previous (working) "system restore point" to remove their unwarranted updates; constantly thwart their incessant attacks on my old (IBM) word processing software - because apparently its more important for them to sell new stuff at the cost of crushing older application's workability- the paying consumer "be damned" for his expenditures.
How I miss the days when I could purchase software and keep it stored on DVD for use as many times as I wanted on my own machines.
I never gave anyone permission to hide it all in a cloud.
I never gave anyone permission to destroy what I had payed for - There was a time when the purchaser owned what he bought, and those who would come "crashing in" to steal, or to destroy it were called thieves & vandals.
There was once a time when warranties & repairs for defects never had to be paid for by the consumer, either - they came with the product.
Some rural people like me, don't have the accessibility city folk have to the internet. Some of us still have monthly data "allotments" too - which was totally acceptable to me. It becomes pretty sad when a person has to waste his allotment continuously downloading software that microsoft renders nonfunctional & for "massive" automatic updating without the PC user's consent, virtually every time he goes on line..
But alas, even though those evil geniuses found a way to confound consumers into relentlessly buying new stuff, I have decided to not play their game anymore.
So dear readers, this sight will no longer be maintained. I'm tired of tweaking my machine, my software, and my browser every time I turn the machine on or go on line.
These Heaventology pages will remain online - at least for awhile. But, If you would like to continue to hear about my perception of other dimensional experiences, you'll have to email me now. That link is still on the home page. All sensible commentary will be considered.
So, until we converse again, I'd like to let you know that it was always enjoyable...
Take care & please let all of our souls evolve away from money grubbing. We have so much intelligence and ability to share with - and to do for - one another, yet so many refuse to do it without contracting a process for collecting money first & foremost...
Money ... "The Root Of All Evil" ... and the downfall of every "advanced" civilization in history.... You'd think we could learn a lesson here.
